This is an antique American quilt made circa 1920s to 1940s. It is a traditional Six Point Star or Pennsylvania Hex quilt pattern. The quilt has been beautifully hand sewn and hand quilted. The ground color is not white and was never intended to be white, it is almond. This is a summer weight quilt, meaning it was made for aesthetics rather than warmth. In our opinion, the jacket is very thin and lightweight with little to no loft (puffiness). This piece is a dream to wear. This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10! For closures we used brass Eagle Buttons. This is a size EXTRA SMALL. We designed this vest to be a fitted piece. It can be worn over a shirt or as a shirt. Please make sure to read the measurements below before ordering. Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
