This is an American antique quilt made circa 1950's to 1960's. It is a traditional Log Cabin quilt pattern. It has been both hand quilted and hand sewn. It contains many novelty fabrics from its era. It is a fun, cheerful, and comfortable quilt to wear. It is important to note that the backing fabric is a poly-cotton blend. We love the contrasting gold backing fabric (inside of jacket). The Blankie style is our most oversized one size fits most jacket. If you are tiny or petite please understand this is a very large oversized jacket. Lady Lancaster, who is modeling this jacket is a US size 0-4 and 5'4" in height for perspective. This piece legitimately fits a US size 0-16 comfortably. Lady Lancaster designed this style to be a literal Blankie with arms. Perfect layering piece for after the beach or pool or a pre ski and campfire.

This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
