This is an Antique American quilt made circa 1890's to 1910. This is a traditional Lone Star Quilt Pattern. It is exceptional for its crisp points, beautiful hand quilting, and meticulous hand sewing. It is important to note that there are discolorations throughout the front panel. It does not affect the integrity of the fabric but if you like your quilts in mint condition, this is not a quilt for you. We love the contrasting lemon colored fabric on the inside of the jacket, it adds depth to the overall aesthetic. We added a distressed vintage Levi trucker jacket for the sleeves and collar. In our opinion the quilt is very thin, very soft, very light weight, and has a dream drape. It is very flattering. For closures we added natural wood flower buttons. Lady Lancaster found this quilt in Gettysburg, Pa, this is one of her favorite places to source quilts. If you have further questions please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.
