This is an American Antique quilt made circa 1930s-1940s. This piece is extraordinary for its museum worthy hand quilting and meticulous hand sewing. We love the dainty pastel pink, blue and yellow floral fabric the maker used. This jacket is darling. It is very comfortable to wear and easy to style. In our opinion this piece is soft, and very lofty(puffy), and has a moderate drape. PLEASE NOTE: There is one dark spot on the back of the jacket. We have added a photo at the end of the listing showing mark. There are also a few minor zig zag mends. We have added an iphone photo for an example of these mends. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
