This jacket was designed by Lady Lancaster using two different orphaned quilt tops that were made circa 1930's-1940's. One quilt top is a Lone Star quilt pattern and the other is a Traditional Apple Core quilt pattern. Both the quilt tops were hand sewn. Please note that this quilt is not hand quilted, however both tops are hand pieced. The quilt tops contain some historic feed sack fabrics. This is truly two jackets in one and we feel that both quilt tops complement each other beautifully. The jacket is completely reversible. It is very thin, very light weight, and has a perfect drape. There is an age spot on one of the apple core pieces. It is smaller than the size of a dime and we have included a photo at the end of the listing for you convenience. If you have further questions, please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary
