This is an Amish made quilt from a Lancaster County Mud Sale that was held at the Robert Fulton Fire Company. It is a traditional Cathedral Window quilt pattern. The window panes have been hand appliqued which is a labor of love and a lost art! To match the jewel tones of the quilt we used iridescent glass buttons! In our opinion, the quilt is thin and lightweight! If you're looking for a full on quilt ensemble this vest can be paired with the coordinating Queen Bee and Class Act Maxi. You will be the talk of the party! This is a size medium. We designed this vest to be a fitted piece. It can be worn over a shirt or as a shirt. Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
