This is a traditional Hawaiian quilt. The quilt has been beautifully hand quilted and hand appliqued. Hawaiian appliqué quilts were made to reflect the lush tropical flora of the beautiful islands. We love the two-tone nature of these pieces. For closures we added vintage textured brass cone buttons. In our opinion the quilt is thin, super soft soft, and lightweight. This is a size MEDIUM. For closures we used three gold and pearl heart buttons. We designed this vest to be a fitted piece. It can be worn over a shirt or as a shirt. Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
