This is an American antique quilt made circa 1890’s-1920’s. This quilt pattern has been referred to as a Texas Star, Friendship Hexagon, Dolly Madison's Star and Star Garden. This piece is hand quilted and hand sewn. It contains many men’s shirt scraps from its era. We added contemporary concho buttons as closures. This is size Large. We designed this vest to be a fitted piece. It can be worn over a shirt or as a shirt. Please make sure to read the measurements below before ordering. Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
