This is an American antique quilt made circa 1940s to 1960s. It is a traditional New York Beauty Quilt Pattern. The quilt has been beautifully hand pieced and hand quilted. This piece was made by or for a man named Dale. The name is embroidered into the quilt. We saved this provenance and made it a focal point on the sleeve, please see photos. In our opinion, the quilt is thin, soft, lightweight, floppy, and has a very flattering drape. We have added a carved brown button as a closure. Please Note: a subtle tanning mark at the front bottom of the jacket we have tried to capture in photographs included in this listing.
