WOW! This quilt is like nothing we have every seen before! This is a piece of walking text book history! The maker spent countless hours hand embroidering every president's portrait, term, signature and number of when they ran. They started at the first president and ended on the 40th! We know that this piece was made during Ronald Reagan's presidency due the maker leaving the end date of his term unfinished. We also know that this quilt is from the 80's due to the poly fill. This fill makes the piece very light weight and cloud-like to wear! The maker did not only masterfully execute their hand embroidery, hand quilting, and hand sewing but they backed(inside of jacket) and grounded their piece in iconic American flag fabric. This can best be shown off by rolling the cuffs! For a closure we used a mother of pearl button. In our opinion the quilt is super soft, thin, light weight with medium loft(puffiness).
