This is an antique American quilt made circa the 1940's. It is made in the traditional Grandma's Garden quilt pattern. The quilt has been hand sewn and hand quilted which is a labor of love and a lost art. This piece contains novelty, juvenile, and feed sack fabrics from its era. In our opinion, this piece super soft, light weight but does have some loft to it. The jacket drapes beautifully and is very flattering. For a closure we added novelty handmade buttons that include crystals. We have added an extra button but please note it is not unusual for the buttons to shed crystals. To make this jacket extra cozy and perfect for an après ski outing we added a detachable genuine pink fur.
