The Queen of Hearts...We are always looking for heart quilts and are thrilled to have found this large-scale piece of Pop Art. This is a vintage quilt made using the applique technique. The hearts are hand appliqued with black embroidery thread and topstitching. The top stitching is not consistent and there are some stitches missing throughout. We love the large scale and statement this quilt makes. This quilt is also beautifully hand quilted in a rainbow motif. We love the contrasting sky blue fabric on the inside which can best be appreciated on the collar and the cuff. The actual quilt is made with extremely soft cotton. It is very thin and lightweight. This piece is super comfy and flattering to wear.
