This is a Lady Lancaster original design. The quilt is a combination of Cherry and patterned denim fabric that Lady Lancaster quilted and backed with novelty red, white, and blue fabric. The backing fabric highlights the cherries in the denim. Darling ruffles have been added to the sleeves to add texture and detail to our standard Slim Shortie design. We encourage you to cuff the ruffled sleeve for an added layer of color and interest. We added a cutie cutie pa-tootie cherry brooch that you can put anywhere to your liking. This piece is ready for the runway, a day of shopping, or a girls night out! For a full ensemble pair this piece with the matching skirt. In our opinion, it is thin, has a little loft, but not super drapey or floppy. For closures we used gold and white enamel buttons. Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
