This is an antique Amish quilt. We do not know when this piece was made. It is a traditional Tumbling Block Quilt Pattern. Amish quilts from this era are becoming exceedingly harder and harder to find. We are thrilled to have this in our collection. This piece is meticulously hand quilted. We love that the maker backed this piece in a blue chambray fabric. We do not typically get to work with such true earth tones. If you're looking for an everyday piece for fall, this is a great option for you! This quilt is in excellent condition. The Amish do not use 100% cottons for their quilts but a poly bled fabric that is Bishop approved. We have used gold and black glass buttons as closures. This is a size S.
