This is an Antique American quilt made circa 1940's-1960's. It is a Kite Star quilt pattern also known as the Arkansas Kite quilt pattern. This piece is exceptional for its masterful hand quilting, and meticulous hand sewing. We love the variety of fabrics used in this piece. The maker backed this quilt(inside of jacket) with a pop of color. We encourage you to cuff the sleeves to show it off. In our opinion this piece is soft, thin, light weight with very little loft(puffiness). This quilt is in great condition. For closures we used gold and white pagoda scene buttons. If you have further questions, please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video. This is a size S. - Do not order this jacket without considering and reviewing the size chart. If you are on the borderline of a size, please size up for best results.
- This jacket has been preloved and will show wear appropriate for its age.
Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
