This is a vintage American quilt. It is a traditional Grandma's Garden quilt pattern. We believe this quilt was made by two different makers. The quilt top is from the 1930's-1940's and was beautifully hand sewn. The backing fabric is a light tan floral that is from a much more recent era and was quilted using a long arm machine. This is not hand quilted. The quilt top is overflowing with beautiful quintessential fabrics from the 30's. The quilt is in great condition. It is super soft, thin, and light weight with very little loft(puffiness). We used mother of pearl buttons as closure. This set is a show-stopping statement. The jacket is a size S. Please see size guide below and length measurements below. We designed this skirt to fit many different sizes. It has adjustable buttons at the waistline. It is a strait cut and very flattering. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
