This is an antique American quilt top made circa 1930s. It is a traditional Snowball quilt pattern. The top has been beautifully hand sewn. To complete the quilt, we backed the orphaned top with reproduction fabric from the 1930's. Zoe Dawn completed this quilt on her long arm. In our opinion, the quilt is thin, soft, and lightweight. The new fabric on the inside of the jacket makes this piece very durable. For the precocious stylist this piece can be worn inside out. We love the exaggerated funnel neck for those incognito days. Lady Lancaster loves to wear these with a favorite hat and sunglasses. We noted one zig zag mend on the inside of the vest that we have provided in photographs. This vest is a Medium. Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
