This is a contemporary American quilt made in 2015 by Trylla Esherick in Albuquerque, NM. We know this because the maker kindly embroidered the provenence into the quilt. The quilt was made as a wedding gift. It is a traditional Grandmother's Garden quilt pattern. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, and soft. The top is hand sewn but was quilted on a long arm. We love the calico floral backing fabric that can be seen on the inside of the vest. Please see the photos included for your convenience. The quilt is in excellent condition. For another pop of fun and because we don't do boring, we used a neon zipper! This vest is a Small/Medium. It is designed to be a boxy fit. Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
