This is an authentic, antique Indian Kantha quilt made circa 1940s-1950s. This piece has been hand quilted using rainbow embroidery thread. This is an extremely rare color combo for Kanthas and the tiny pieces, crisp points and hand appliqué is ex. There was also a mend that we display in the back panel of the jacket because we find it charming and a window into it’s past. Words cannot express how soft and luxe this piece is. This jacket is a delight to wear, and extremely comfortable. We added mid century lipstick red closures down the front of the jacket.
