Londy London, Lady Lancaster found these children’s bedspreads from the mid-century with British motifs and couldn't resist making a whimsical British jacket! The quilt is backed (inside of jacket) with novelty British fabric. You will want to cuff the sleeves to show this off! The piece is not hand quilted, but was completed by Zoe Dawn and her long arm machine. The exterior fabric is slightly grainy and slightly stiff to the touch. The inside is a soft luxe cotton. In out opinion, the quilt is thin, lightweight, and has a little loft (puffiness). It is not a super drapey quilt. We used vintage British military buttons that Lady bought while shopping in London.
