This is a contemporary American made quilt. This quilt pattern goes by many names, Double 9 Patch, Single Irish Chain, or Golden Steps. This piece has been beautifully hand quilted in contrasting thread color! It adds subtle dimension to the large black squares. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, soft, and has a little loft (puffiness). Since this piece is contemporary, the jacket is both a show horse and a work horse. No TLC needed. We added very rare and substantial glass scarab buttons as closures. This jacket would look excellent with a fur collar if desired. Please reach out after purchasing if you would like to add a fur collar! This is a size LARGE, please read size measurements below. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
