ONE OF ONE, WEARABLE ART! Lady Lancaster explored new territory combining a hand crochet blanket with novelty fabric. Our friend Zoe Dawn carefully longarmed this piece together! We believe the blanket was made circa 1960s to 1970s. The backing fabric is a cheerful green striped fabric, which adds a fun pop when the sleeves are rolled. This piece is definitely on the thicker and heavier side, so please be aware if you live in a warm climate! Due to the nature of the open weave, there could be the potential for snags. We added antique white and gold glass buttons as closures. Please note: The button holes have been altered and intentionally made them tighter in the anticipation of future stretching. This is a size LARGE, please read size measurements below. This piece fits a range of sizes depending on how you like to style your jackets. Please note, there is a minor small age spot on the inside of the jacket. If you have any questions please direct message us and we are happy to bore you with many more details.

Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
