This is an American antique quilt made circa 1930’s to 1960’s. It is a traditional Tumbling Block quilt pattern. This piece is hand quilted with red embroidery thread. It makes the blocks jump out at you. The quilt top is made with fine wool fabric and the quilt is backed with cotton. If you are sensitive to wool, even though the quilt top will not go against your skin, you may want to avoid this jacket. Due to the use of wool, this jacket will keep you warm. This jacket is lightweight, however, it is medium loft (puffiness). We have added 1930’s wooden buttons that Lady Lancaster found in Paris as closures. If you are looking for a Lady Lancaster Jacket that would be good paired with fur, this would look fabulous with a detachable fur collar. Please read the sizing measurements below before buying. This piece fits a little more snug than our typical Market jackets. If you have any questions please direct message us and we are happy to bore you with many more details.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
