This is an American Antique quilt made circa 1940's-1950's. This pattern has been known throughout history as a Stairway to Heaven or Zig Zag Quilt pattern. We know that this quilt comes to us from an estate in Pennsylvania. This beauty has been hand quilted and if you look close you will see the variation in each stitch. The maker backed this quilt with a neutral black and white fabric. We added four large Mother of Pearl button as closures. To make this piece extra cozy for winter the jacket comes with a detachable Navy Blue genuine fur collar. If you have any questions please direct message us and we are happy to bore you with many more details.
