This is an American antique quilt made circa 1950s. It is a traditional Hearts, Pierrot’s Pom Pom and Aunt Jerusha quilt pattern. This piece is hand knotted and hand embroidered. The hand embroidery is stunning, the maker used gold embroidery thread and used the turkey track stitch. We have added a genuine fox fur collar to the jacket. The fur collar is 100% detachable via snaps. It is important to note that the fabric on the back of the quilt (inside the jacket) is a blue striped flannel. This is a warm jacket and intended for colder climates. We have added brass-like metal buttons as closures down the front of the jacket. Please note: there are a couple zig zag mends on the jacket and we have added a photo at the end of the listing to illustrate this.

We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
