This quilted jacket is made from American Revolution toile fabric that was made to celebrate the original 13 colonies. In honor of our country's semiquincentennial we used this fabric as well as novelty star fabric to make a patriotic quilt. This piece was quilted on a longarm by our good friend Zoe Dawn. We used metal British Military Crest buttons as closures. In our opinion, the jacket is very thin, very lightweight, and easy to wear. This piece is great for the history buff. It has the sophistication of French toile but tells the story of American history. This can be worn with cut offs and cowboy boots, or dressed up with jeans and heels. To me a full ensemble, pair this jacket with the coordinating vest! This is a size Medium, please read size measurements below. Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
