Lady Lancaster tried something new and quilted a vintage hand crocheted afghan. We have never done this before and consider this a textile success. You will want to cuff the sleeves to show off the yellow and pink polka dot fabric. This also makes wearing the jacket extra comfortable. We used checkered mother of pearl and metal buttons as closures. Please note, this is much thicker and heavier than our typical jackets. If you live in a warmer climate this may not be the one for you. This is a size MEDIUM, please read size measurements below. Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
