This is an antique American quilt made in the 1970s. It is a traditional Log Cabin quilt pattern. The quilt has been hand quilted and partially hand sewn. We love the contrasting 1970's backing fabric that can best be appreciated when the sleeves are rolled or the jacket is worn inside out. This piece goes great with cut-off denim shorts and Golden Goose sneakers or leather pants and Prada heels. This is a fun jacket that goes from day to night very easily. We used mid-century faceted buttons as closures. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, and very soft. The quilt is in great condition for its age.
