This quilt is a combination of extremely rare colonial George Washington bark cloth from the mid-century and turn-of-the-century reproduction fabric. You will want to cuff the sleeves to show off the inside reproduction fabric, it is striking with the barkcloth. For closures we used gold and white pearl and enamel flower buttons. Since the fabrics in this jacket have seen little to no wear, this piece is very durable and will not need TLC. It is very soft and comfortable to wear. This jacket looks great with a dress or more causally worn with your favorite pair of jeans. This is a size SMALL. This is our Queen Bee jacket but without the fitted waist band. Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
