This is an authentic Lancaster County Amish Quilt. These pieces are extremely rare! It is a traditional Trip Around The World quilt pattern. This quilt is exceptional for its meticulous hand quilting and crisp points. We love the backing fabric(inside of jacket). It is a green and blue plaid and a fun contradiction to the quilt top. We have added 6 velvet embroidered crown buttons as closures to the front of the jacket. This is a collector's piece. We believe that the fabric is a poly-cotton blend and in our opinion the quilt is very thin, very soft, and very light weight. Due to the nature of fabric used in this quilt the button holes do have a bit of stretch to them and may become gappy overtime. This is a size S. vintage, Fan quilt pattern. It has been hand quilted and we believe the maker hand quilted over a cheater quilt. We have added crystal buttons as closures down the front.

We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
