It is a traditional Sampler quilt. It has been meticulously hand sewn. It is an absolute one-of-a-kind quilt. Quilt tops of this caliber typically hang in antique quilt shows and museums around the world. It is a stunner and museum-worthy in every way! It is exquisite for its tiny pieces, crisp points, and turn-of-the-century fabrics. The earthtone colors and the chevron border are next level. To complete the top we backed it with coordinating turn-of-the-century reproduction fabric. This also gives the jacket durability. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, and has a great drape! This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. Please note, the sleeves are 2” longer than our standard Helen pattern. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
