This is an American antique quilt made circa 1930s to 1960s. It is a traditional Broken Star Quilt Pattern with a really nice elevated border. We've highlighted this border on the sleeves. This quilt was made by a master. It has been hand quilted, hand sewn, and has crisp points. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight with a little loft, super soft, and has a great drape. The quilt is in excellent condition. The maker backed the quilt(inside of jacket) with a cotton muslin fabric. Please note, there is a minor zig zag mend or two that blend into the jacket. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
