We are thrilled to offer this piece in this collection. This is an American Antique quilt made circa 1930s to 1950s. It is a traditional Six Pointed Star Quilt Pattern with a very elevated border. We have show off this border on the sleeves and bottom of the jacket. This is a stunning and rare quilt. This piece has been beautifully hand quilted. In our opinion, the quilt is very thin, lightweight with very little loft, and has a beautiful drape. Please note, there is a tiny age spot on the pocket, we have tried to capture it in a photograph. Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
