Do you like to dress on theme? If so, this is perfect for your next Christmas party! This is an antique American quilt top made circa 1950s-1970s.. It is a traditional Tulip applique quilt pattern. The top has been beautifully hand sewn and hand appliqued. To complete the quilt, we backed the top with a corresponding red novelty fabric which can best be appreciated when the jacket is worn inside out or the sleeves are cuffed. In our opinion, the jacket is soft, lightweight, and has an excellent drape. The ground fabric is not a stark white nor was it meant to be, it is more of an almond. This is a beauty and a stunner and is in excellent condition. This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. It is wearable American Folk Art. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
