This is an original design by Lady Lancaster and a future heirloom. It is a traditional Broken Star quilt pattern. This piece is not hand quilted but was brought to life by Zoe Dawn and her long arm. If you are looking for a piece can withstand more wear and tear, this is a great option for you. This jacket is designed to be a work horse in your wardrobe! We love the contrasting neon backing fabric(inside of jacket), which can best be appreciated when the sleeves are cuffed or the jacket is worn inside out. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, and has medium loft(puffiness). Please note: the sleeves are 2” longer than our standard Helen pattern this is perfect if you love to rock a cuffed sleeve. Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
