This is an American Antique quilt made circa 1960s to 1980s. It is a traditional Broken Star Quilt Pattern. This quilt was made from a quilt kit. This was not made by a master but we can still appreciate the thousands of hand stitches, which would have taken countless hours. The quilt is hand quilted and hand sewn, a true labor of love! In our opinion, this quilt has medium loft(puffiness), is very lightweight, extremely comfortable to wear, and feels like a giant cloud hug. Please note the sleeves are 3" longer than our Standard Helen Pattern. Overall, this quilt is in excellent condition. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
