This is an American antique quilt made circa 1930’s-1960’s it is a traditional Rose Appliqué quilt pattern. This piece is exceptional for its museum worthy and extremely dense hand sewing, and its meticulous hand quilted stitches. In our opinion the quilt is thin, lightweight, soft, and has a perfect drape. This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. The ground color is not white and wasn’t intended to be white. It is off white or ivory. Wear this to you next garden party and be the talk of the event! Please note: There are a few zig zag mends that blend into the fabric.
