This is a vintage traditional Indian Kantha Quilt. This piece is quilted by hand. Kantha quilting is done with a running stitch. In our opinion this Kantha features soft luxe cotton. It is thin, lightweight, extremely comfortable to wear, and very flattering. It is in excellent condition and is completely reversible making it 2 jackets in 1. PLEASE NOTE: The sleeves are one inch longer than our standard Helen jacket style. Kantha Quilt stitches are much more likely to break or snag, because they are not as tightly quilted as American Quilts. If this is something that would annoy you, please steer clear of the Kantha quilts. If you have further questions, please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.

Measurements
36” back of the neck to the bottom of the hem
36” laying flat, armpit to armpit
Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
