This is an American Antique quilt made circa 1960's-1970's. It is a Floral Cross Stitch quilt. The maker made this from a quilt kit and you can faintly see the blue guide lines and dots in this piece. This piece was both hand quilted and hand cross stitched. The maker spent hundreds of hours meticulously stitching each and every detail on this quilt. In our opinion the quilt is extremely soft, thin, lightweight with light to medium loft (batting). It is very comfortable to wear and has a flattering drape. Please note: there are a few minor age spots. Our hi-res images could not pick them up so we have included photos at the end of the listing. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
