This is a traditional Suzani blanket or quilt from Uzbekistan. It is heavily embroidered with pink and red threads. It is thin, but has some weight to it. We would not call this a light weight Suzani, however, it is thin and very flattering. Please Note: We have washed this quilt three times and there is a plastic-ish smell that persists. We work with a lot of Suzani's and have never had this issue. The item is priced accordingly. If you are sensitive to smells, please do not purchase this jacket.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
