This is an American Antique quilt made circa 1920's-1940's. It is a rare and traditional Princess Feather Applique quilt pattern. This piece is exceptional for its museum worthy hand quilting and absolutely impeccable hand applique stitches. In our opinion this piece is super soft, thin, light weight with little to no loft, and has an excellent drape. This jacket is absolute wearable Folk Art. It is a total statement piece and is very flattering. Please note there are a few minor zig zag mends and a minor black spot on the inside of the jacket. These discrepancies are not noticeable on the outside of the jacket. For you convenience we have added a photo at the end of the listing displaying the mends. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
