This beauty was completed in 1956 by Anne Bauscher. We know this because she gave us the sweet gift of signing and dating the quit with hand embroidery. We have saved this provenance in bottom of the jacket inside of the jacket. This piece is beautifully hand quilted and hand sewn. This is an Applique quilt pattern. This is also called a Sampler quilt, as there are multiple different quilt blocking styles represented in this piece. In our opinion this piece is soft, thin, light weight, and has a flattering drape. PLEASE NOTE: there are a few spots of minor sun bleaching and tanning. They are very minor and do not compromise the fabrics integrity. At the end of the listing there are photos pointing out these spots. Overall, this quilt is in great condition. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
