This is an American Antique quilt made circa 1940's-1950's. It is a large scale Postage Stamp quilt pattern and is also a Scrap quilt. This piece was found in Lancaster County, Pa at a Mennonite estate sale. This piece has been beautifully hand quilted. This is a scrap quilt made with scraps from the maker's fabric stash. There are many different textiles used in this jacket to name a few; wools, corduroys, cottons, and polys. If you have any sensitivity to non-cotton fabrics, DO NOT PURCHASE this jacket. The inside of the jacket is lined with a soft cotton fabric. This lining is a contrasting navy and tan striped fabric, and can best be appreciated when the cuffs are rolled. In our opinion this piece is extremely flattering to wear! It is thin, light weight, and moves beautifully! Please note there are a few zig zag mends, for your convenience we have added a few photos at the end of the listing showing the most easily seen spots.
