This is an American Antique quilt made circa 1950's-1960's. It is a very rare applique quilt that is not found in the Quilt Encyclopedia. The maker added a Christmas tree themed border to a more traditional applique floral pattern. This can best be seen along the cuffs and jacket border. This has been beautifully hand quilted and hand appliqued. Overall this quilt is in great condition. In our opinion this piece is soft, thin, light weight, and has a great drape.
