This is an American Antique Quilt made circa 1880s - 1910. It is a highly unusual pattern with a Pin Wheel in the centre, reminiscence of a Trip Around the World only with bars. This piece is absolute museum quality for it’s dense hand quilting, it’s very rare pattern and it’s beautiful fabrics. Words cannot describe the depth and beauty of the fabric on the back of this quilt (inside the jacket), which can best be appreciated when the sleeves are rolled. We have added faux leather buttons as closures down the front of this jacket. In our opinion the quilt is very thin, very soft, very lightweight with a beautiful drape.
