This is an Antique American quilt made circa 1930s-1940s. This is a traditional Grandma's Garden Quilt Pattern. This piece is exquisite for its tiny pieces, its museum worthy hand sewing, and hand quilting. We love the fact that the back of the quilt (inside of the jacket) is a bright pink fabric that coordinates with the outside pink. This can best be appreciated when the jacket is unbuttoned and the cuffs are rolled. In our opinion the quilt is in excellent condition, very soft, very thin, very light weight and flattering. We added mid-century green spherical buttons as closures. While the buttons take this jacket to the next level aesthetically, it is worth noting that these buttons do not operate as effectively as flat buttons. If this would annoy you, please do not purchase. PLEASE NOTE most of our Dusters have two pockets, this piece only has one pocket. If you have further questions please direct message us and we are happy to send you a video.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
