This is an American antique quilt made circa 1940s - 1950s. This is a traditional Wedding Ring quilt pattern in a very unorthodox color palette. The quilt is beautifully hand quilted and hand sewn. It contains juvenile fabrics and some historical feed sack fabrics from past eras. We have added one mid century lucite button as a closure. The quilt is in excellent condition, the genuine fur collar is 100% detachable and we have shown the jacket with and without fur in the images. In our opinion this jacket is thin, medium weight, medium loft (puffiness or batting), very soft with a great drape.
- This jacket best fits a size 4-10/12 depending on styling preferences and bust size. We consider this to be a size small. Please reference measurements before purchasing for a specific fit.
- This jacket features two generous pockets.
- This piece is lightweight but of medium thickness. It has loft to it but it is not heavy at all.
- Measurements
51” top of the back of neck to the bottom of the hem
22” laying flat, armpit to armpit, buttoned jacket
26” shoulder seam to the bottom of the arm, uncuffed
Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
