This is an American, antique quilt made circa 1920s-1950s. This is the traditional Crazy quilt made from various scraps from the makers sewing box. This quilt contains flannels, wools, a few silks, and cottons. It is hand quilted. We have used some zig zag stitches throughout to mend a few of the fabrics. In our opinion this quilt is thin, with little to no loft (puffiness), however, it has some substantial weight to it. This is an excellent piece for fall and winter. It will be quite warm. We have added leather buttons as closures down the front. Please note; The maker added a border to the quilt by reversing the direction of stripes. We have preserved that and highlighted it down the center of the cuffs. We love the fabric on the back of this quilt. This can best be seen when the cuffs are rolled or the jacket is left unbuttoned.

  • This jacket best fits a size 0-8 depending on styling preferences and bust size. We consider this to be a size small. Please reference measurements before purchasing for a specific fit.
  • This jacket features two generous pockets.
  • This piece is lightweight but of medium thickness. It has loft to it but it is not heavy at all.
  • Measurements

48” top of the back of neck to the bottom of the hem

20.5” laying flat, armpit to armpit, buttoned jacket

22” shoulder seam to the bottom of the arm, uncuffed

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
