This quilt coat is made using vintage Batik wall hanging that Lady quilted and backed with pink and lavender Malachite fabric. You will want to cuff the sleeves to show off this rad fabric. For closures we used navy composite buttons from the midcentury. In our opinion, the jacket is extremely thin, lightweight, and has an amazing soft and floppy drape. Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Some fabrics can be older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
