This is an antique American quilt made circa 1880s to 1920. It is a traditional Feathered Stars quilt pattern. This is a true piece of American heritage. This piece is museum-worthy for its crisp points, tiny pieces, meticulous hand sewing, and over the top hand quilting! The quilt is overflowing with rare and valuable indigo fabrics from the turn of the century. It is extremely rare and in excellent condition for its age. For the collar and sleeves we used a vintage Levi Trucker jacket. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight with no loft, very soft, and very flattering to wear. It has a beautiful drape. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
